I have mentioned SEO (Search Engine Optimization) in a previous post, but this is not quite the same thing. Your Facebook Page has an Admin section that shows you exactly who looks at your posts and where in the world they are. It also mentions who is talking about your pages. This only happens when someone has posted up a link to a post or a photo of yours and shared with others, hence Talking Pages!
I have found it very important when looking at a Page I administrate that it gives me a real idea of who my audience is and how best to serve them. I currently volunteer with a National Charity and Administrate for their area-based Facebook page and its vital that I target and gain the right audience. Once I have them on the page I need to keep it relevant and then my audience will remain on the page and hopefully share posts, comments, articles and pictures in order to add more people to this page.
The area is called "insights" and does exactly what it says. There is a tour you can take to show you around and can be retaken as often as you want. I have found it quite surprising at times what posts have become as "viral" as they have. It is a great learning tool and makes it easier to make the page more subjective for your audience.
Let's face it, when you have gone to all the trouble of setting up a page, you want to make sure you are reaching the right people and then giving them what they want.
I am happy to set up and administrate a page for any client. Regular, informative updates are what is required and with the clients information and diary and with my cheerful and responsive posting I will be able to get the Page Talking in no time! :)
