What a controversial month that was eh? Only a week in and Facebook and Instagram share they may want to leave Europe a "Face-tagramExit" if you will. Then at the end of the month all sorts of unpleasant things happening in Ukraine. It's been a bit of a month hasn't it?
Let's check out what you may have missed and see if there are somethings you want to implement going forward:
This nasty little bit of clickbait made everyone jump but in reality its just Meta having a tantrum about data. Don't get me wrong, it's a justified tantrum but its more to do with data transfer, storage and processing rather than anything else.
I do think that it's all paled into insignificance since Ukraine but let's keep an eye on things shall we?
It has been in the makings for a while now but in the last week of February, Meta announced that what was previously only out in the US has now rolled out everywhere.
In fairness, stories on Facebook has been essentially neglected by most people unless it was connected through Instagram. Will we see more now? Doubtful, but I'm open to being wrong... Personally I feel TikTok has got Facebook Stories by the proverbial tail here. (You thought I was going to say something else didn't you!).
Well now you can and you previously couldn't! I'm not entirely sure why its taken so long to do but now you can get on your favourite app with this marketing ploy and promote it before hand, just like you can on Facebook. Read more about it here. It's actually pretty easy...
I think this is actually a good idea and long time coming personally but NOW Meta has set up a notification for anyone who screen shots the messenger chat. Everyone in the chat will be notified that someone has taken a shot. So just be careful what you do from here. Not entirely sure when it comes or came in....
I just love this application! It's so sophisticated and easy to use at the same time! Anyway Socially Sorted shared this great blog about the various ways you can create a video using their templates. I simply didn't get time to do some before today but will definitely try some in the near future. Before it gets too well known!

Well, character limits anyway. Yep, since 2017 when they doubled it from 140 to 280 characters, they are now toying with the idea of making it possible to do Articles no less!
The MICROBLOGGING site (soon to be a misnomer) obviously hate it as much as the next Facebook, when someone clicks away from their website to view something else so this apparently is in the works. Have a read of the article yourself here.
