Well that was a traumatic month! Last month one of my kids finished her Junior Cert and the other has finished Primary school. On top of that, we had my birthday and some other rather large and good moments too. It's been nice to have wonderful moments together and this month we get to go away on holiday for a few days as well. I'm looking forward to what my relatives think of Westmeath while they stay with our cats as well.

In this latest update from Meta they announced they had developed "Voicebox", an AI that can perform speech generation tasks, that can perform tasks like editing, sampling and stylizing. I particularly liked that they can also edit pre-recorded audio and claim they can remove car horns or a dog barking.

Meta have made creating Reels even easier apparently! Now you can tap a new resource called the Inspiration Hub and with brand new editing tools all in the one place, it should be faster as well.
They have also made it easier to edit pre recorded and previously Live videos and add these to your Reels as well, called Clips to Reels.
There is also a Pro mode that you might want to use for Creators. These are Reels insights that were previously only available on Meta Business Suite. These include Page and profile-level reels insights on reach and interactions; and individual reels insights such as new followers attributed to a Reel, distribution and more.

Google Business Profile has always been good for SEO but now they are looking to refine services on each profile and aid it's searchability (is that even a word?). In fairness business owners aren't updating this platform either at all or enough, so by drawing attention to this now, I think you'll find you're getting found faster than ever if you do start to post in GBP. Yep, its' all happening today! Who knows what we'll see when we head into Google Analytics this morning but we have known about this for at least a year. Now I hope to find an article that will explain this in English at some stage, but for now, this will have to do! It's time to learn this platform all over again...
Last year Google announced that Universal Analytics (UA) was being sunsetted on the 1st of July 2023. This means you should have moved over to Google Analytics 4 (GA4) over the last year, so as to allow data to be collected in the interim months. Hopefully you did and they worked in tandem in the intervening period, while you get more familiar with the new process. It does look quite different and needs to be navigated in a whole new way.
